Room for  LD 868, "An Act To Rename the Division of Deafness within
the Department of Labor."  This is YOUR opportunity to make the
changes needed at DoD to better reflect the ALDA population.

April 30th 1pm Work Session at State House Labor Committee Room for

Services Conference.

agencies come together for our Annual Conference.  And we still do not

JULY 07: Rockland Public Library Speaker event, July 19, with CART provided by ALDA-Maine.

If you do not have a hearing loss, you probably know someone who does.

Most meetings include pot-luck refreshments, presentations, and good discussions. All have warm friendship and understanding from others who live with hearing loss.

Potential new ROCKLAND/Rockport Area ALDA-MAINE Group: PEN BAY
PROFESSIONAL BUILDING, Conference Room C, on the Campus of Pen Bay Medical
Center, Glen Cove Drive, Rockport, just northeast from Rockland center
(and before Camden). From Rockland, travel through Rockland Main Street (route
one), straight past the Main Street shops and continue on Route One, through two or three
traffic lights, passing large shopping malls (Wal-Mart on the right; Home
Depot on the left) until the trees re-appear and there is a traffic
light for the Medical area (sign also). Turn right onto that entry road, and
The Professional Building is the second building on the left.
If you are coming down Route 17 from Augusta, please follow signs to
Route One and turn left to find the Medical center, as above.
